The system of circulating emission documents and accounting of the Omega advertisement campaigns for OMD Poland. |
| |
The system supports the financial realisation of advertisement campaigns. Detailed information about the advertisement emissions in media are introduced (or imported from other systems) into the system. The following media are included: the press, radio, television, outdoor, internet, btl, sms, call centre, and other. The system keeps the record of pro-forms, invoices and correction invoices for the purchase of advertisement space, payment information, and relations between those documents and emissions. The system enables documents, such as emission agreements, pro-forms, sales invoices, correction invoices, payment orders, monitors, to be automatically generated and printed (or exported). The system controls time limits of all operations by reminding the users of them. The expense control mechanisms and vindication have also been implemented. Additional reports allow complex financial analyses to be conducted. Standard sets of HTML periodical reports are produced. Then the company's clients can read them in the extranet. The final financial information is exported to the Symfonia system. The system operates in three branches of OMD Poland. The particular functions of the system are to be used by all employees of the company (secretaries, planners, finance department, and management). Access to these functions is controlled by an authorisation set. The entire system has been developed in RAD - Power Builder. Data are collected in a database called Sybase Adaptive Anywhere. |

Press Planner |
| |
The system has been designed to plan press advertisement campaigns. It operates in the environment of the RAD type i.e. Borland C++Builder. PostgreSQL opereating on Linux Debian is a database system that has been used. The system analyses data about the reading of several hundreds of magazines, registers and uses press advertisement price lists, optimises campaigns taking into consideration some key indicators, generates, keeps a record of, prints and e-mails presentations, campaign plans, emission agreements, emission calendars, estimates, orders for contractors and advertisement agencies, and technical parameters of particular magazines. Data concerning financial aspects of the campaigns are exported to financial systems. The system has been started in OMD Poland. |

OMD Brand Tracking v1, v2 |
| |
The system has been devised to gather, analyse and present data that have been collected by means of the OMD CATI system. The system consists of two modules: administrative and viewer ones. The final data of the OMD CATI system are imported from databases of the administrative module. These bases operate on PosrgreSQL on the Linux Dabian server. The administrative module enables different clients to be subscribed onto particular data sets. According to this subscription, data portions together with their description are exported to external files. These files are coded by means of an algorithm alike the triple DES. The files along with the viewer module are presented to the subscribers. The viewer module gives graphical presentation of the results. It is possible to generate reports based on the unprocessed data. Yet, the unprocessed data are not available to the subscribers. Now the system operates in OMD Poland. The viewer module is delivered with data to the data subscribers. At the moment the system is being developed - financial information and multimedia files are being added to the viewer module. |

OMD CATI |
| |
This is an advanced system of a CATI type. It has been created in Borland C++ Builder. It consists of two elements: the Switchboard and the Questioner. The data processed by the system are gathered in files having defined structures. The system's task is to support the realisation of telephone interviews in the call centre according to the definable interview scenarios. The interview scenarios are defined in files of an XML type. They include sets of questions, possible answers, single choice questions, multiple choice questions, open questions. A set of questions, their order, content and a set of answers change during the interview.
These changes are conditioned by the course of an interview. Logic expressions provided in the scenario are used. At the moment the system is being applied to conduct two big series of research in Polish Telephone Lines (Polskie Linie Telefoniczne) for OMD Poland.

Timesheet |
| |
This is an intranet system (PHP, PostgreSQL, Apache, and Linux Debian) registering the time each employee has devoted to certain projects (a multilayer structure) and the kind of undertaken activities. The system posses such functions as a complex authorisation structure, cascade entry confirmation, advanced reports combined with a personal costs calculator. The system operates in OMD Poland. |
|
E-mail archive |
| |
The system catches e-mails arriving in and leaving each e-mail server. E-mails are preliminarily categorised. Having been acknowledged by a user, chosen letters are made available to other employees. Access to a database of such a construction is controlled by advanced sets if authorisations. The system has been developed with the use of PHP, Perl, Apache, PostgreSQL, and Linux Debian. The system operates in OMD Poland. |
